Parijat Industries in conjunction with Anand Foundation inaugurated their campus for Rural Development through its CSR initiative, Parijat Urja Chakra (PUC) at Ambala, Haryana on 21st June 2022. The campus was inaugurated by Srimati Harshi Anand. Parijat Urja Chakra was established in 2014 and has been working in rural areas for last many years. The new campus will house the numerous initiatives that Parijat CSR and Anand Foundation have been running in a gamut of areas such as education, environment, health and sanitation, sports, agriculture, rural development, livelihood, and intangible cultural heritage. The new campus will enable scaling up the various ongoing projects.

Parijat Urja Chakra
One of the main thrust areas and objective has been to provide education, training for improvement in employability of youth, and entrepreneurship to the students from rural areas of Ambala through its various activities. PUC has been building toilets, providing clean water infrastructures for schools, revamping Anganwadi’s, building badminton courts in Government schools. Apart from this Anand Foundation has also been conducting Annual Inter-school badminton, volleyball, chess, debating, carrom competitions for Government schools. PUC has also been inviting agricultural experts to provide training to the farmers on the safe and judicious use of pesticides as well as running a stitching training centre for young girls and women.
