Year (2023 - 2024)

  • Exposure Visit organised for Fashion & Stitching Students

On the 19th of August, 2023, Parijat Urja Chakra organized a visit to a fashion designing exhibition along with students from FD. A total of 10 students participated in this exhibition: Neeru Kirti, Khushboo, Vandana, Renu, Balwinder Sarabjit, Gurmeet Amanpreet Komal. Unfortunately, three students couldn’t join us due to unforeseen circumstances.

The exhibition took place at 35 Sector Kisan Bhawan in Chandigarh and aimed to introduce the fashion design students to the world of fashion, textiles, and creativity. It provided them with interactive experiences and promoted learning through hands-on activities.

Year (2019 - 2020)

One day exposure visit to Kurukshetra was organized by Parijat Urja Chakra, Fatehgarh on March 3, 2020. Altogether 50 students and staff participated in the exposure visit. The students visited the Kurukshetra Panoama and Science Centre, Dharodhar Museum and Kalpana Chawla Memorial Planetarium.

Year (2018 - 2019)

  • Entemological Lab Visit

It was no ordinary day for 28 school students from GSSS Fatehgarh School and PUC students, who were given a break from the classroom to embark on a memorable field trip to the Laboratory on 12th October 2018.The students who participated in the field trip were mainly of 10th class who have been taking science as their compulsory subject and working toward the goal of getting high scores in it. During their field trip, they saw the potential for future careers and were given a rare opportunity to see how what they are learning in the classroom translates into cutting-edge science that solves real-world problems. Their visit to the Laboratory included tours of Pathology Lab, Entomological with Ms. Nidhi and Chemistry Lab with Ms. Dipti. It was mind blowing experience for the students to see all the different projects that are taking place in the lab and the technological advancements. In addition to the tours, Ms. Nidhi gave a presentation on the work she and her team are doing with pathology lab equipments and entomological lab practicals and Ms. Dipti gave a presentation on the work done by the Chemistry Lab. Students found it very interesting that there were many different type of machines used to make medicine. But the best part was entomological lab where they learn about the life cycle of butterfly  and other insects. The students not only learned about the latest research, they also learned about different careers in Science and the importance of collaborating, networking and making connections with others.

  •  Visit to Chandigarh

On October, 25th 2018 Parijat Urja Chakra organized an exposure trip to Chandigarh. More than 50 students were part of the visit and the purpose of the exposure visit was to generate an exchange of experience, discipline and good practice between the students. It enabled participants to interact with and learn from each other, allowing them to view practical examples of successful integration of sustainable practices on developments. The places they visited were Butterfly Garden, Museum of Art & Science Gallery and Rock Garden.
