EMPOWERING FARMERS THROUGH INNOVATION AND EDUCATION

 

This programme is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency, productivity, sustainability, and profitability of agricultural practices. This initiative aims to tackle challenges such as limited access to modern techniques, climate change impacts, market volatility, and resource constraints. By integrating innovative technologies, training farmers in best practices, promoting sustainable farming methods, and providing financial support, the program strives to empower farmers, improve food security, and contribute to economic development in rural areas.

 

Farmer Training was conducted at Parijat Urja Chakra on January 17th and 29th, 27th February , and March 9th, 2024, featured training sessions led by Dr. B.S Sehrawat and his team.

Approximately 50 farmers from nearby villages Fatehgarh, Jatwar, Sadopur, and Jaspur attended each session. The comprehensive training covered various farming topics, offering valuable insights into crop management, soil health, and pest control practices. By disseminating knowledge and skills, the program aimed to empower farmers to enhance their agricultural productivity and sustainability. The sessions fostered an interactive environment, allowing farmers to engage actively and learn practical techniques to improve their yield. Through initiatives like these, Parijat Urja Chakra continues to play a pivotal role in supporting agricultural development and empowering farmers with essential knowledge and resources.

 

Training Programmes & Kisan Goshti From January 2024 to June 2024, a total of Six Kisan Goshti (Field Days) were organized to educate and support farmers.

These sessions were provided by the valuable information and practical guidance on various agricultural topics.

 

  1. Kisan Goshti on Package of Practices for sunflower.
  2. Kisan Goshti on Dhaincha (Green Manuring),Paddy Crop.
  3. Kisan Goshti on Nursery raising and agronomic practices of paddy.
  4. Kisan Goshti on paddy field preparation and its package of practices.
