Natadol Library

Anand Foundation Library at Natadol Government Primary School (Motiyapathar)

The Anand Foundation Library, housed within the Government Primary School, Natadol, was initiated on 1st June 2025 as a collaborative effort to enrich the learning environment for children from Classes 1 to 5.

In mountain areas, where access to diverse educational resources is often limited, libraries play a crucial role in nurturing curiosity, imagination, and learning beyond the classroom. They offer children a window to the world—through storybooks, creative activities, and playful learning tools.

The library features a wide range of age-appropriate books in Hindi and English, along with a thoughtful selection of toys and educational materials to encourage both reading and creative play.

Open from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the library offers children a chance to engage in story reading, book-based activities, and playful learning, helping to build a strong foundation for literacy and joyful learning.

Fatehgarh Library

With a vision to promote the culture reading, a library consisting of more than 200 books is built at Parijat Urja Chakra in collaboration with Anand Foundation. Newspapers and magazines of diverse genres are added every month to facilitate holistic development of the students. Competitive examinations books are also made available to the aspiring students

Reading and Book Club has been initiated in the Library of Parijat Urja Chakra New Campus. Anand Foundation Book clubs involve children to read books of their choice, review and bring to the group, thus widening the reading repertoire of children. Story telling sessions are also conducted by the Librarian. The Reading & Book Club has been supporting students to enjoy reading books and increase their vocabulary and their confidence. Students who read independently have greater reading comprehension, verbal fluency, and general knowledge than those who do not. They become better readers and have greater content knowledge.
