Sports Day is conducted every year in the villages to maximize the interest of students towards sports.

Sports activities and interests provide many positive opportunities for children. Many parents believe that participation in sports will enhance children’s school accomplishments. Good sportsmanship provides guidelines that can be generalized to classroom and lifelong achievement. Participation in challenging sports contests teaches children to love classroom challenge. It also teaches children to function in a competitive society.

Annual Inter School Sports Day 2022-23

On 9th February 2023, Anand Foundation organized its 5th Annual Inter School Sports Day at Jatwar Government School Sports Ground in Ambala. The students from 7 Government Schools and Parijat Urja Chakra (PUC) from Ambala participated in this competition. Ms Jyoti Rani (Block Education Officer, Shahzadpur), Ms Seema Rani (Principal, GSSS Jatwar) and Mr Om Prakash (Fatehgarh Sarpanch representative) were present as the Chief Guests for the event. 70 students participated in the Sports Day.
