Debate is a great device for engaging students and bringing life to the classroom. Debates help students understand essential critical-thinking and presentation skills and also nurtures rational thinking, citizenship, manners, organization of thoughts, persuasion and public speaking. Student debate has the capability to deeply engage the students in relevant learning and to inspire students to be deep thinkers. More than just arguing, the structure and rules of a debate are designed to keep both sides calm.

On 19th October 2022 Parijat Urja Chakra organized its fifth Annual Inter School Debate Competition at Parijat Urja Chakra New Campus in the presence of Chief Guest Ms Seema (representative of BEO), Judge Prof Satish Moudgil (Retired Professor G.M.N. College Computer Department), Dr. Ashok Kumar Sharma (Professor from S.D. College Commerce Department) and Dr. Shashi Dhamija (Retired Arya Girls College Head Department of Hindi)

On 13 November 2025, the Anand Foundation Parijat Urja Chakra organized a grand Annual Inter-School Debate Competition for students at government schools, where children from nine schools participated with great enthusiasm. The topic of the debate was “Opportunities for a child’s successful future depend on the family, not the government,” and students presented strong and inspiring arguments highlighting the role of family, values, and social responsibility. The event aimed to enhance students’ expression, critical thinking, and social awareness. District Basic Education Officer Mrs. Jyoti Rani graced the program as the Chief Guest, while the jury included Dr. Anupama Arya (Retired Principal), Dr. Shashi Dhamija (HOD, Hindi), and Dr. Satish Modgil (Retired Professor), along with CSR Head Mrs. Natasha Rashid, Center Head Mrs. Nirmala Singh, and dedicated staff members of Anand Foundation.  The program concluded with certificates, trophies, medals, and gifts being awarded to all winners and participants, with the jury commending the event as a remarkable effort to promote intellectual growth, education, and social awareness among students.
